Hi everyone!!
I find the main thing I struggle with since my surgery is finding  a variety of things to drink! I enjoyed a diet pepsi or two each day before surgery, but since it's a no no now, need ideas so I don't get bored.

I drink crystal ligh****er and coffee mainly.  I just bought some sugar free Kool aid packets and sweeten it with splenda. I liked the grape flavor.

So my question to you...what are your favorite things to drink?!

Thanks for any ideas!

Cherry Limade sounds yummy!

I struggle with what to drink too, aside from water, which I'm ok with. I find most of the Crystal Light flavors too chemical tasting.

If you liked to drink apple juice I have discovered the BEST alternative: Walmart has a surgarfree APPLE drink (Great Value brand) that you add to a bottle of water.  To me it tastes exactly like apple juice, but I also like the cranberry apple and lemonade.

Trader Joes also has premade unsweetened iced tea called Tava or JAVA or something like that.  It's nummy.

These are my fave no calorie liquids:

*Metro Water (has flavors with subtle hints and no fake sweetener...like Mint, Orange, Chocolate, etc.) - typically found at your local health foods store
*Smar****er - that's the name of it, it's bottled and there is literally NO taste to it!
*Lots of different hot teas (caffeine free)
*Water mixed with Pure Lemon, Pure Orange or Pure Lime...mmmm...no artificial sweetener, just like putting a real lemon/orange/lime in your water.
*Unsweetened apple juice diluted with water
*Unsweetened iced tea
*Mock Arnie Palmer: unsweetened iced tea mixed with lemonade

I do not care for the taste of fake sweetener so I typically drink more water oriented beverages than anything.

I LOVE the variety at WallyWorld!   They have a ginormous selection of SF drink mixes - their own Great Value (I think?), Crystal Light, and my latest favorite, Ocean Spray cranberry - in a variety of flavors!  I was diabetic, so hadn't had juice for YEARS - but I LOVE the cranberry juice ****tail flavors!!!  Hawaiian punch has some good flavors, too - strawberry lemonade being my favorite (THANKS, DAYNER!)

And their prices are simply the best, hands down.    (Cherry Limeade ROCKS!  But it does tend to make your tongue red, just to warn ya  )

As it is winter and I am freezing cold all the time and can only tolerate one big cup of joe I have been drinking non-stop hot tea.  I love the spiced orange tea as well as other fruit ones!!  Keep me warm too!

The spiced orange tea - is that like a Russian tea?  (That's what I've always known it as...)  I LOVE that stuff, but haven't found a SF version.  Is yours sweetened?  If I remember, the recipe for mixing up "Russian Tea" has Tang, lemonade, cinnamon, instant unsweetened tea, and a few other spices in it...  Sound familiar?  I'd LOVE to find a mix or a recipe for that!!!

I too adore that tea!!!  But this is just an herbal tea that taste kinda close to "Russian Tea" if you would sweeten it~ I don't.  For the Russian Tea all you would have to do it use the SF Orange CL(or Wally's), the SF Lemonade, instant SF tea, and the spices(clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon) and splenda and mix until it taste similar........sheesh, I should go dig to see what I have and try to make it cuz it sounds darn good and I like to come up with the SF versions...............
