Try rubbing alcohol for the tape residue. They also make adhesive remover in a little wet-wipe thingy. Any of your docs' offices should have them and you can ask next time you're there. I get my blood drawn at my hematologist's office all the time and that's where I learned about them - they work great! The glue comes right off, even easier than rubbing alcohol. I don't know if they're available in stores or not, though (maybe a pharmacy?).
