OT: RELEIF!!!

This morning after work I went and picked up my newly ordered TENS Unit~ WOW!!! It feels sooo good!! Like tiny little massages!! It is to block the pain and it is helping!! YAY!!

I had to chuckle tho, the price tag was $800 and the insurance has to pay that! What a waste, they could have applied that $800 to surgery fee!!

What is a TENS unit? Is it one of those little electric-shock deals? I had a friend who had to "wear" one of those for years after a bad car accident, but she SWORE by it!

Hardly matters, I'm just glad you've got RELIEF!!

Yep, that's the thing! And Thank you!! I am getting out of the cloudiness from pain meds and feeling better, not good but better! Woohooo! On a roll and this time with electricity

I'm glad you got some relief! I felt badly for you when I read you were in such pain after your shot. It's also good that it's drug-free pain relief so you're not having to take meds. Good for you!

I'm glad you are finding relief with the TENS!! I wore one for a s\while for ankle pain and it was soooooooooo much better than the drugs. Here's hoping that your cortisone shot begins to work better and you find some somewhat permanent relief from pain.

PS My daughter's boyfriend uses one of those things for his back (he's a mechanic) and the funny thing is that when he has it on it makes his butt cheeks jiggle......very funny.
