Patient Choice Signature

I am wondering if anyone has the same insurance as me and what their experience was.  I have Patient Choice Signature thourgh my employer (who happens to be Park Nicollet)  I plan on having the lap-band done at PN.  My BMI is right at 40 and I have no other comorbidities.  Anyone elses experience would be helpful!

Brian, I have Patients choice and I had 43 BMI and they paid for my RNY no questions asked.  Call them just to make sure.

I also am a PN employee with Patient Choice.  The surgery was covered at 100% but not all of the nutritionist visits were covered.  After the informational session, I sent in my packet.  When I first talked to my nurse, I asked all of these questions and got great answers.  You can do the same.  Or you can send me a message here and we can talk about what I acutally ended up paying out of pocket.

I work for PNC and I will only have to pay up to my yearly out of pocket expense which is 1500, but I pulled 1500 out of that medical card. As long as your bmi is 40 you should be cool.
