Good Morning Everyone,

I've been home sick the last few days so I've actually had some time to read this thread.  It's quite eye opening.  I think the way it  has rolled out has been quite thought provoking.

For me, I guess at this point, choosing what I eat and my lack of exercise had got me in the maintain mode.  In the last three months, I'm down 5 pounds, but at this point, I'm ok with that.

I see that I am eating waaaaaaaaaaaaay more that most of the posts here.  I really think I am ok with that for now, but seeing the other choices being made, shows me what road  I need to take if I want the last 15 gone.  Thank you being setting a great example.

I'm so glad you posted, although I'm sorry to hear that you're sick. As I've peeked as some of these, I too feel that I'm eating WAY more than most - and not all of these folks are newbies! I guess that's the reason why my jeans are feeling quite tight lately. I too have to take charge of where I am. I realize that I may never get to my personal goal of getting rid of half of my original body weight, because as of today, that's 56 lbs away, but I still want to get to onederland and if I could live in a 16 for the rest of my life I'd be super content!

Anyway, I made a commitment with a friend to get back on track today so we're going to get started this weekend by prepping all our meals for the week and help keep each other accountable.  I just need to get back to basics, no drinking with meals, no pop, protein first..yadda yadda!

Yep, Me too!!  This thread has helped me get back on track.  There are a few things I need to do better on, and I'm working on it, so hopefully my 1 Year Plateau will end and I will start losing again!  I too dont think I will make it to my original goal but if I could lose 20 more, I would be happy!

I was feeling the exact same way (eating too much)!!  However, Just participating in this food thread every day has really helped me to be accountable and pull back on the portions and frequency of my meals/snacks and has really made me think about the mindless eating I was doing so I can make good protein forward choices!

YAY!!   I am so glad this got started !!!
