1 yr out and some reflections
Hi, folks! Yes it's been ayear already. Time flys when your working the tool and living life to the fullest. This past year has brought many changes in my life. starting at 235 lbs I am now 127lbs not one day passes do I regret having this wls. It has what my brother just told me the real Troy back. Along the way I too was set back in this journey. although I lost weight gained a new persective I seperated from my wife and am in the final process of a divorce. Theirs not a day that goes by that i miss being with my kids but i know they will eventually understand. On a brighter side I am seeing someone and she incredible(support,understanding,encouraging,loving,sharing) all this and many more. I have also re-established relationships with my brother, sister, and mother whom I pretty much never have seen for about 15 yrs. I am running sveral miles at a time, plan on running 1/2 marathon in may in Minnetonka and the full marathon in June in Duluth. I have too admit I am not on the boards as much as I use too be but I do lurk alot and praise those who need it. Finally this journey is all about me.... When U take this step make sure it's all about u. Life is too short to hate or despise or have jealousy!!! U need to love yourself enough to put the hammer down and go for it!!!! Congrats Troy on your 1 year out! You have done a great job and are a great motivation for many of us. I'm amazed at your energy and dedication to this journey. I will never forget the day you said oh I just ran 23 miles! You will do great at those marathons!!
