When to take meds?

I am taking potassium now and the directions say, take with food.

If I am not supposed to drink 30 minutes before a meal, during a meal or 30 minutes after a meal, how do I take my medications with food?

Well, I would usually take them about 30 min after a meal with a drink. There is still enough food in the system to help protect the pouch.

But since I take meds 4 times a day, I usually grab a handful and take a drink with a meal to get them down. That is how I handle it. Alot of times I end up taking my night meds and eating a little something with them since there are 11 pills and I already had an ulcer and continue to take prilosec to keep it from coming back.
