hello sorry long
I am so sorry to hear about your dad's death. He sure was a fighter--he lived far longer than the doctors said he would, didn't he? And you know, that burst of energy and improvment seems to be a gift that dying people give to their loved ones. I think you're right, though, that your being able to take care of his loose ends for him gave him a peaceful exit. What a wonderful gift YOU gave him! And I hope that gives you peace. He obviously loved you VERY much!
Remember the good times with your dad. May they sustain you in these sad times.

**SUE**
TO THOSE I LOVE AND THOSE
WHO LOVE ME
When I am gone, release me, let me go-
I have so many things to see and do.
You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears,
Be happy that we had so many years,
I gave you my love, You can only guess,
How much you gave to me in happiness,
I thank you for the love you each have shown,
But now it's time I traveled on alone,
So grieve a while for me if grieve you must
Then let your grief be comforted by trust.
It's only for a while that we must part
So bless the memories within your heart.
I won't be far away, for life goes on
So if you need me, call and I will come.
Though you can't see or touch me, I'll be near-
And if you listen with your heart you'll hear
All of my love around you soft an clear.
And then, when you must come this way alone,
I'll greet you with a smile and
"Welcome home"

Hugs and more from all of us. I know how difficult this is right now, but I believe by doing the POA, your dad was entrusting you to take care of all of the things that need to be taken care of. He knew that you are strong enough to handle things and that the brother would never hae been able to take care of things.
Your Father loved you immensely, saw the wonderful and intelligent woman that you are. He will be with you always, an angel on your shoulder.
Hugs,
Karen, Laurie, Marlin and Princess Nemi (her hugs are the best ones)
