My ski bunny butt is sore!! (photos)
I am on Day 2 of skiing in the Alps and this day I went with an instructor for 4 hours. It was tough, but it was a blast. I am amongst a bunch of fit ski experts... and believe me, I am nowhere near fit.... but I am managing. Felt like I was going to break my knees a couple of times.. and my face after one nice face plant, lol... but I am doing well.
It takes about 20 minutes to get down the hill(s)... and I can't imagine how many calories I am burning. I have learned the 'real' way to ski, so it's a lot easier on the legs and back and a ton more fun! I just keep thinking how blessed I am.... I would never have been able to do this at my highest weight!
Here's my album from both Latvia and Austria on Facebook (if you want to comment, friend me and you can, otherwise anyone can see it):

Yep, it is! :) Thanks for looking at the photos!
Thanks so much!! :) Nice to see another person from Duluth - we'll have to meet some time - I am up there a couple times a month. The scenery here is amazing... out of this world, really.
The summer is what Jurmala is all about - walking the shopping street to the beach, swimming in the sea, it's lovely :)
