Incision scars

I'm roughly 8 weeks out now. My lap incisions have healed (no scabs or anything) but they are bright red and puckery.

Anything you would suggest to start putting on them now so they look better in the long run?
(Because of course, I'm just dying to buy a bikini. )

Thanks!
Anna

Mostly it will just take time, but you can try taking Vit E gel caps poking a hole in them and squirting the gel on your finger and rubbing it in to the scars or you could try Palmers cocoa butter ( for strech marks) and that might help too. I have been doing the vit E and my inscions are barely noticeable except the two bigger ones that are not all the way healed yet.

Hope it works,
D

If you search in walgreens.com "scar" you'll find a ton of different treatments. Not sure which work the best, but I think they have customer ratings. I've heard vitamin E like blueyedgirl suggested. I was just looking at my scars too this morning and had questioned whether I'd ever wear a bikini.  *** I think NOT! Unless I have plastic surgery some day)
