OT: Spring break vacation
Any specific suggestions for spring break? Looking for a beach setting, South Padre Island maybe. Would like a decent place near or at Beach-me taking two teenage girls. Hotel or Condo. Hoping to find a good deal but don't know where to start. I've always avoided the beach.

I vote with Kelly on Sanibel Island....it is pretty peaceful, the seashelling opportunities are fabulous, they have good restaurants, you can go kayaking on the ocean in shallow water, you can bicycle everywhere if you want to do so, there is a wildlife refuge right on the island, and you are close enough to Fort Myers to get in a few hours of craziness and then get out. It is a little pricier than the typical spring break haunts, but well worth it, in my opinion.
