I work in St Paul. We should get together sometime. I do a hot chocolate with milk and Dt swiss miss in the morning and evening to add to my protein intake. 4% cottage cheese is an easy one. 1/2 c for 12g.

  I found a supplement at gnc  on line or in the store . its called New whey protein it 42 gm of protein 176 calories and 2 carbs and comes in 3oz shots its a little to sweet for me on its own  it's a clear liquid non dairy. post op I mixed in in 1.5 cc in 4ozs of water and it taste like cool aide. then I had it twice a day Its a clear liquid so you can have it right away post op. now I mix it in wylers or crystal light 1.5cc in 20 ozs for a supplement if I' short on protein or on clears again. It comes in several flavors I like grape the best and in grape wylers its really good. They also have a pro-slam protein supplement comes in same shot form but it's only 27 gm of protein and cost the same as the New-Whey. 42 gm..... Fyi you can also made jello with it just let the hot  water cool some its not to be used in hot drinks then just mix the 3ozs in with the cold water and use 3ozs less of the water. use the same flavor jello as the new whey and you can't even taste it.  have a good one hope this helps on getting in protein and I don't even have a scale to weight on I check my weight at exercise class only and only once a week this helps a lot.. good luck
