welcome to OH this can be a great place to read ask questions and get information. theres a lap band coffee group that meets in coon rapids at the starbuck on foley sunday nights at 630 pm don't know if its your side of town or not I here the maple grove coffee group is great its bandsters and RNY folks . just post your part of town and I bet some one will chime in with a coffee group and if not in to coffee group this is still a great place have fun reading and welcome to the journey

HI all,
I live in Green isle, MN about 30 west of Chanhassen. I would love to come out and meet everyone of you and have a coffee. I'm 35 now and i've been dealing with my weight since high school. It's been hard not being able to do the things l like to do in the summer without having pains in my legs,ankles and lower back. Don't get me started on my dating life..boring..lol Something about being 6'5' and 363lbs seems to scare off some people.
Please post times dates of these gatherings and I can't wait to meet many of you!

There is an Eagan coffee this weekend they meet about 8:30 at the Caribou in Bylerys.
Also this weekend there is a coffee group in Maple Grove same time at the Caribou in Bylerys.
Next weekend there is a coffee group that meets at Panera Bread in Burnsville. We start about 8:30 and Panera is attached to the Burnsville Center on HWY 42.
Then the coffees alternative every other Saturday.
Hope to see you at a coffee group on of these days!!

Welcome to the board - there's just a few of us that have the band who post here, but it's a great group of people for support. Like Nancee said we have a band group that meets in Coon Rapids, but that's quite a distance for you. If you ever have any questions, feel free to ask. I can truly say, getting the band is the best thing I've ever done for myself.

Hi Kevin!!! I am one of several bandsters that meet for the Maple Grove coffee! It's a great time and we have a lot more men now, so I hope you can make it out to see us!! Also post or lurk on the LapBand forum - lots of good information there!!! WELCOME and hope to see you in the near future! I also went through Park Nicollet and the band has saved my life!!
