I posted this on the Wisconsin board then noticed there hadn't been a new post in like 4 days so I thought Id post here as well

Hi Neighbors,
I am traveling from Minneapolis to Rockford IL. Sometime in the next couple of weeks to pick up my Grandmother. Can anyone tell me if there is a good Casino/Hotel among the stretch of I94.

http://www.ho-chunk.com/ It's near Wisc Dells, haven't stayed at the hotel, but heard it's a great place from friends who live in Portage. And you can see it from 94

I've stayed at the HoChunk hotel and its quite nice. Not much else available at that exit as far as shopping or other entertainment, but it was well worth the money.

I am going to ditto what Cathy said...it is off the freeway and south of the Dells - on a 2-lane road, not much else around there.
