One Month Out - Reflections, Realizations, and Respect
Congratulations. I am three weeks out.
I had to have my rings cut off in 2005. I have chronic pain, and I was on a medication that made my hands swell and get puffy... and in addition I consoled myself with food (I didn't have very good coping skills for pain back then)... so... I had to have the rings cut off.
I got myself a diamonique set from QVC.... in the biggest size... and also outgrew that. Now I am able to get my fake ring on. When I hit goal I will have my real rings redone.
My husband wears his ring faithfully. I have felt bad all this time not wearing one. It's good to wear something again.

I have not complained that I wasn't losing fast enough or as much as so & so, because I made a promise to myself that if I had WLS, I wouldn't do that. That my body is unique and individual and comparing would only drive me bonkers.
I love this. We need to not compare ourselves to how others are doing because we are all unique. Good for you on your progress, your doing great!
