Question for both pre- and post-ops!

This question has been asked before - PROBABLY by our resident thinker (thank you, Sandie!) - but I was just pondering something & thought I'd pose the question here again.

Post-ops:  What body part have you discovered that you're most intrigued or thrilled with since losing weight?

Recent post- or Pre-ops:  What body part are you anxious to discover after your weight drops?

For me - there are lots of bones emerging that I lost touch with a LONG time ago, and I really enjoy being able to see/feel them!  But I seem to be the MOST taken with my HANDS!   Maybe it has something to do with the fact that they're just OUT there and I can see them pretty much all the time, but I love my hands (dry as they are)!  The knuckles where there used to be dimples.  The veins, tendons and bones - watching them all move as I type or knit or do dishes...  I just LOVE having normal hands!!!  My rings have all gone down 2 full sizes - whoda thunk THAT?  Bracelets are no longer wedged into the crease between my hand and forearm - they flow together nicely and bracelets just slip & slide around like they're supposed to!  (thank you, Tracy!!)

So, share away!!!

I would have to say my hip-bones. I did not know I had any before surgery!!! The first day I was laying on my back on the bed and ran my hands down my sides and found these bones!! I was so happy. I love that I can put on my bluejeans and still feel the hip-bones supporting me.

Second would be my collar-bones. Marlin gave me a necklace that hilights them, It makes me feel special and sexy.

Since surgery 6 weeks ago, the swelling in my ankles is noticeably less, or maybe they're just not as fat, or both.  I can't wait for more knuckly hands to appear, I've always hated my "baby hands" IE: Fat, dimply hands.

I've already lost more than one ring size, and the ring I've been wearing to keep my wedding rings from flying off is now getting so loose, it's about to fly off too.  Time to buy a new gaurdian ring I think.

I'm not sure where to begin with this I love my hands I went from a 10 1/2 wedding ring to a 7 1/2 .   My collar bone...  my legs.... ok I think my hip bones are the most facinating.  The first time I realized I had hip bones I thought something was horribly wrong with me then I discovered it was just my bones.  Its the craziest experience!!

For me, so far it's been my wrists. I typically have to get an extra link or two added to my watches. I got a new watch at about 3 months out, and I didn't have to add a link. Now at 10 months out, I've actually had to remove a link because it has gotten to big.

My fingers kind of go along with that since none of my rings fit anymore!

It's amazing to see yourself shrink by the things you wear. I don't always see the loss when I look in a mirror, but when your clothes are falling off, or fitting differently it really makes a difference.

So funny you should ask . . .
this morning while brushing my teeth, I leaned over the sink and reached up to hold my necklace out of the way.  I felt something strange under my shirt.  So odd, that I actually pulled my shirt down a little to check it . . . it was my collar bone! ! !  I hadn't felt it or seen it for a long time.   I'm also starting to notice things that move in my feet.  I'm lovin' it.

For me I think it would have to be my neck and face.  I always looked like a football player, with no neck.  Now, I actually have a pretty neck, and a slim face!

My flat tummy.  And that didn't happen until after plastics.

All my life I've had a big gut - and even after losing 150 lbs, it still hung and had to be stuffed into my pants.

I can finally wear high cut panties without my gut hanging out the bottom!  Ewww...bad visual image I know!
