Question for both pre- and post-ops!

I won't tell you what my first thought was in response to your inquiry...However, upon reflection, I think it is a toss up between my hands and my shoulders. I can see the veins and tendons in my hands again. My shoulders actually have a shape other than "lump". My fingers look like fingers rather than flesh-colored sausages. I am not embarassed to wear a shirt that fits across my shoulders....well, to be fair.I used to buy them to fit around my gut, which usually meant that my shoulders were indistinguishable.

LOL - quite frankly, I think my mind went south when I first read your third paragraph - so I'll take the lecture, too...LOL!!!
However, it's true! I cannot wait to find my ankles! They've been one with my calves for far too long and the only time I remember having actual ankles was a few weeks ago when my niece came over and took out my size 8 prom dress. I was going to get rid of it but then my DH said "I think you should keep it for now. How fun will it be to see if you will fit into it again along this journey?"...Bless that man's heart! So we tucked it back away...we'll see.

Ya know, I'm anticipating a certain amount of boredom this weekend... perhaps I'll pull an ANGELA and go dig out my wedding dress - see how THAT looks?
