Not horrendously bad news, but my surgery has been rescheduled for March 24th!!!  Is that nuts or what?!?  The other surgeon who assists Dr. Kelly is out for the WHOLE MONTH OF FEBRUARY!  Ugh.  Not going to get too down about it...at least I have a date, whether it's 3 weeks or 12 weeks from now - it's a date.  But, what a bummer...

Thanks for all your well wishes from my previous post!

Have a great weekend!

I have been out of it, but I take it you have insurance approval??  Congrats to you!  I am thrilled for you.  Will I see you at Eagan coffee?

Aw Stephanie, that stinks! But you have the right mindset about it! WTG.

Your surgery will be all that much more meaningful when your date does finally arrive because of your patience through the process.

Hugs to you!

p.s. - do stay on top of the insurance approval process, though - just in case your surgeon has a cancellation and can bump you back up on the schedule!!! It has happened before.

I know how you feel! My surgery was scheduled for 3/10. My mom got her plane tix to fly in and then a hour later I was told by the scheduler that she didn't realize he would be out of the office that week! GRRR! It took my mom a week, alot of agrrivation and a letter from the scheduler for them to not charge her $150 to change it an hour later! Now my surgery is the same day as yours lol! sheesh! We will both have to try to be patient! Patience is a virtue and I don't have any, patience that is not virtues!

Hi Stphanie-

Even though your date was pushed back I guarantee you that the time will pass very very quickly!  You are in great hands and are doing all the right things to prepare yourself for surgery.

I'm sad I won't see you at coffee tomorrow to give you a big congratulatory hug- but  will see you soon enough!!

Have a GREAT weekend!

Hi Stephanie.......it is disappointing but it just wasn't the right time. You will be even more prepared and ready to start your journey in March. I wish you the best!!

Darn, that's a bummer.  Happy to see the news hasn't gotten you down though.  Kim's right too, about the end of March being warm enough to walk after surgery, which will be a great bonus.
