How long was it before you had surgery

From the date of my first appointment to the date of surgery, it was ten months for me.

six months for me, that included 1 appeal.

I think alot depends on your surgeon, what office / doctor are you planning on using??

Its been exactly a year (today) since I went to my doctors siminar. And I am havin surgry Feb 4th. My hold up was insurance and then the 20 pounds that my doc required me to loose! Hope it all goes well with you

I went to the semior on Jan.6th,mailed off the paperwork Jan.13th, On Jan.16th PNC called to set up the 4.5hr group of apptments which will be Feb.16th.  I have HealthPartners

I started mid May with going through Psych appts, surgeon appts, etc.  I had surgery in mid August.  I have Health Partners insurance.  Best of luck to you with your journey!
