40 Ounce Talk

Well since I don't think Coffee at all, I thought I have a chat using a drink that I can really relate to.

The Good Ole Friendly Neighborhood 40 ounces of your Favorite Malt Liquor.  The Cornerstone of Chicago-Lake Liquors in South Mpls.

Anyway, I'm trying not to get impatient, but it's wearing a little thin.  I promised a friend that I will not get upset, and I'm not.

Ok, as some may know.  3 weeks ago Friday, my papers were faxed to my insurance company for approval.  I was told it took up to 2 weeks to get a letter from them.  So I checked my mailbox on the daily looking for something.

Nothing

My friend told me to just give them a call and see that's up.  I called yesterday and the rep told me the dept that rcv's the fax said they didn't see anything and gave me an 800 number for my surgeons office to call.  I took the number and gave it to my surgeons nurse via voicemail yesterday.

For a procedure (or any procedure) that's so vital, and where there's faxing involved, wouldn't you think there would be some Due Diligence on making sure the fax were rcv'd and or contacting the faxing party to confirm you got it in the first place? I mean some accountability here.

On the flip side, if I called and they told me I was approved, I'll be on here talking about new clothes and buying normal scales and the like, but I'm not! LOL

Glad to see I'm not the ONLY person who TALKS more about drinking out of frustration than I actually DRINK!

But yeah, it is frustrating as heck to not feel confident that the people who need to process your stuff are doing just that.   Keep calling them, Juice...  Right now, it IS all about YOU!  So wear it, own it, call it, make sure it happens!

When you are least expecting it you will get that call or letter and it will be a glorious day!!!  Like Darla said though, keep on them!!  I can't wait to see the post that says that you are approved!!! 

Waiting has got to be the hardest part!!! I remember calling often to find out. But they do say good things come to those who wait right??
