A little compliment goes a long way
Whenever I truly think someone looks good or they have a nice shirt, I tell them... even if they are a stranger, because I know that one nice compliment - no matter who it comes from - means the world sometimes.
Today I went in for my WW meeting... hadn't been there in a month due to travels. It was a crowded room. I had a loss of 6.2lbs total so my name went up on the board and we celebrated.
I sat in the back row and this guy (late 20s, early 30s) sat in the front. When we got to me, the leader (a hilarious and inspiring man) said, "She has really come a long way." And the guy in the front row (who started going to WW at about the same time as me... looks like he has maybe 15-20lbs to lose) said.. "Yeah, I remember when she started. She looks really good right now!"
It made my day!! This total stranger took the time to pay me a compliment in front of a very large group... it really did mean the world. I get compliments from women (they probably feel more comfortable saying it anyway) but rarely from men... so when that happens, it's a big shock... I was just so thankful that he noticed my hard work!!

Imperfect does not = unsuccessful He used to come with his girlfriend... not sure now... but not really lookin' right now, lol so meh lol... :)
