Any "coffee's" in Southwest Metro

Hi everyone - just go the my RNY surgery date scheduled (March 30th) at Abbot.   I see coffee times scheduled which I believe are miny support groups if I'm not mistaken.
I was wondering if there are any "coffee" groups in the southwest metro like Shakopee/Chaska area?

Nothing in Shakopee or Chaska, but there is a coffee in Burnsville at the Panera on the North side of the Burnsville Center.  We meet at around 8:30 am every other Saturday.  This Saturday is the day!!!  You are more than welcome and it would be great to meet you!  If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Hope you join us for coffee - you and i have the same surgeon and same hospital and you are having surgery just about a year out from me! I had surgery march 17 last year - although in a weird coincidence i was originally scheduled for the 30th too!

 

Not the SW but there is a group in Maple Grove and we are a fun and very supportive bunch - new people come all the time - especially lately! It's a drive for you, but the support is worth it :) :) :)

Thanks everyone.  I will probably come to Burnsville - however Sat. mornings I go with my mom and sisters out for a good breakfast together and that seems to be a great support for me.  So I will have to plan a time to come and visit all of you!

Hi, I just have a question for you.  I am also having surgery with Dr. Drew and was wondering why your surgery isn't until March 30th.  I am done with my BCBS requirements on the 20th of Feb and was hoping to get in in March.  Are they scheduling that far out?
 

Dr. Drew went on a 2 week mission trip and was back for a tiny bit and then went on a 2 week family vacation.  When I scheduled last week March 30th was the first available time.  I asked about Dr. Schwartz and he is scheduling Mid -march.  He's only doing surgeries once a week and if you've already met with Dr. Drew they like you to stay with the same surgeon.  Because in order to switch you'd have to meet with the other one first.  I wish mine could have been done sooner too.
I see your in Shakopee and there are a couple others in the southwest burbs too.  I think we should get a coffee going somewhere in shakopee or a meeting or something.  Not that I don't want to go to Burnsville but that's a little bit of a hike for me.
