Stuck in the Hospital Again

[hee hee]  Yes, I did bring my iPod and my 'puter...I'm no dummy!  My doc was in this morning and said hopefully by the weekend, but they're still waiting on some labs.  I haven't seen the hematologist yet, though.  Sometimes he comes late in the day or evening.

I'm so sorry you're having to go through this!  Hopefully they can get to the bottom of it and get you back on the road to Happyville!

What hospital are you at?

I sure hope so!  This is getting old!  Even after one unit of blood, my hemoglobin actually went DOWN instead of up and it's never done that before!    I'm at Fairview-Southdale.

I hope you are up and feeling better soon.  At least you have some entertainment- other than the snoring roommate. 
What did the hemotologist have to say?  Can they do your BM Biopsy while you are inpatient?  Hopefully it is just an anomoly that has caused this drop- and not something more serioius.

Thanks, Reenie.  They're doing the biopsy tomorrow.  The hematologist wants to see if anything's changed from two years ago.  Yeah, the snoring is not my kind of entertainment.   

Nancy - Sorry to hear you're in the hospital. Hope your stay isn't long and the results of the biopsy are favorable.  Thank goodness for technology, huh? I don't know what I'd do without a computer during hospital stays. 

Thanks, Kristy.  I've learned if I go to ER to pack a suitcase just in case, and my 'puter is the first thing that goes in it.  That, and my iPod - gotta have my tunes!
