Hi everyone!! I wanted to share something with you. I do my best to follow the plan to the best of my ability however there are times that head hungry gets the best of me. Perhaps you can relate. Normally my head hungry goes towards those darn carbs!!  I know that this has created weight stalls in my journey. I'm not complaing about the stalls at all I think I have been very success in this weight loss journey. This week I decided that I was going to leave those bad carbs behind. So monday morning I started this and weighed myself. Let me tell you about 3-4pm is when it gets me the most  but I'm happy to report that I have not caved at all this week and I have lost 4lbs since Monday!! WOOOHOO

So I wanted to encourge you if you are feeling stuck try looking at your eating and see if you can change just one thing!!

Wishing you all the best my friends!!
God Bless, Angela

Way to go Angela. Beating those carbs is huge. I've found that if I can go just a few days with a much smaller amount that I crave them less and less - on the contrary once I start with them I then crave them with a vengeance (which is where I am right now - munching on a piece of lemon pound cake no doubt!)

Thanks for the encouragement and the testimony that it does work if you watch what you put in your mouth!

Keep up the good work and may you keep the carb monster at bay!!!

Angela,

Thanks for posting this......I too have good days and BAD days.....Lately more BAD than good......I know for me lately it's been because of feeling down.........

The tool works, I also have dropped 3 pounds this week, just by not putting things in my mouth when the head hunger strikes......What's weird is when the head hunger strikes it's like I eat and eat and eat.........I don't understand where it all can go.....

Great job........And thanks for sharing.....

Angela:

Thanks for this inspiring and hopeful post.  Head hunger has been shadowing me for the past month or so and it's good to know that I am not alone in that experience and that others have fought back against it and won.

Way to go! I am on the same path - my PCOS just doesn't work with carbs, so bye bye to them!

YOU GO, SEXY WOMAN!!  Kick those carbs to the curb!  It is funny, in an annoying way, how they can just snowball...  I think my two biggest issues are my love of salty/crunchy snacks, and MINDLESS eating!  It's not so much head hunger, it's just moving things from where they are in the cupboards or on the counter or in the fridge, into my pie hole.

I've been really trying to push the liquids.  I don't usually have any problem getting my 64+ oz. in per day, but when I have an urge to eat something, I'm trying to condition myself to reach for my water bottle instead!  Hopefully that will show some positive effects when I get on the scale next time!
