I had Lab Band done in november. My weight when i started the liquid diet was 264. (nov 1st). as of today i am only down to 236! What gives? I have had 3 fills so far and am exercising at least 3 to 5 days a week for at least an hour a day. i eat small balanced meals and not eating snacks or high calorie foods. the PA who does my fills tells me its a good, healthy and steady weight loss but i want it to come off faster! plus im loosing from the neck down so where i really need to loose it (my hips and waist) is still the same as it was when i started my liquid diet!!!

I am getting really frustrated with this! Any advice to what i can do to increase my loss??

Doesn't sound like you are doing anything wrong. Almost 30 lbs gone?  Don't beat yourself up.  Lap Band is known to be the slower path, and 3 fills is just the start.  Most lap banders will tell you that it's more like 7 or 8 fills before you find your sweet spot.  Keep your head up....it will happen.

In three months you have lost 30lbs. That's how I am losing too! The band is slower... we all knew that going into it. It's OK though. I am 9 months out and 82lbs down..... I feel like a huge success! So 30lbs in 3 months is FANTASTIC!!!

It took me about 7 fills (and one unfill) to get to a great place with my restriction.

Have patience... all in due time. You need to put away the scale and really celebrate every WOW moment.

Also, post on the LapBand forum for a TON of support - there are a lot of us there that lose slowly but surely. It's all a process... don't give up!

Hi, sounds like you are doing great! I am almost 6 months out and have lost 43 lbs. I've went through 4 weeks of no weight loss but the inches were coming off. Like Elena said put away your scale and post on this or the Lap Band board for lots of support and suggestions!
