Just can't eyeball this stuff . . . huh?
I guess nobody bothered to tell me or I "missed" it in the books and pamphlets . . . but you move from measuring food in terms of spoons to weight when you graduate from pureed stage? I'm learning that you can't just eyeball it, or at least I can't. I don't have a clue at this stage what is 1 oz. or 100 ozs.
So do most folks use a scale in the beginning to make sure they eat/count the correct amounts or am I just ditzy??? If so, would you recommend a brand/type of scale over another???

I still measure. I do WW and count points... otherwise I realize that I go way overboard with calories and portion sizes.
Thanks :) :)
I'm really bad about measuring, I usually calculate less than what I think I'm measuring. Sometimes like with soup, I pour what I think is 3/4 cup and then pour that into a measuring cup and it's less. I should really get a scale. I'll be watching your posts for replies.
