I would simply like to take my boys to a beach this summer and not feel like a moron.
The loose skin may not be pleasant but it will be better than where I started.

The other thing I am looking forward to is strapping on my Camelback hydrating pack & taking the boys & going geocaching!

The theme for me = outdoors!

This summer i will be going to north carolina to visit my sister.were going to the blueridge mountains where my cousin lives.we i was 12,i went to camp in the mountains.I'd like to take a long walk, horseback ride and if time allows go inner tubing down a river.beautiful scenery.I flew in an airplane about 4 years ago,now maybe i won't be so crowded and maybe no seat belt extender. What am i talking about I'm making a goal to not have to wear one.My cousin and i are very close.he hasn't seen me in about 5 years.i'm sure he''ll be happy and glad that we can hike again. They have pensiulas you can climb up to and look down at the valleys below.Kinda treachous going up,but it's worth the sight. Tracy R

I hope to be able to wear shorts or a skirt. Maybe it won't happen this year... but maybe next year!!

Otherwise... I might take a vacation and enjoy being thinner during it. I also want to go horseback riding!! And perhaps water sports - which I absolutely LOVE! I want to try waterskiing... though I think I still need to lose a few, but I am getting there!

Elena,

This summer we will take you waterskiing.......I did it last year for the first time in 20 years I bet. Ask Darla, she was there and saw me get up on those ski's......I did end up doing a face plant into the water and got a cut on my eyebrow from hitting the water so hard, but it was worth it.......

You will be able to wear shorts and a skirt this summer.......You are doing awesome and look great......

Thanks Kelly! The last time I tried waterskiing, I was probably at 250lbs and I couldn't hold on to the practice bar (I did it at a resort)... beceause I couldn't hold my weight. So I am very afraid to do it! Hopefully I can lose some more weight by this summer - I am on a roll right now! :) :)

Oh Darla I love your Jack Handy moments they really make me think deep thoughts!!!....

A couple of years ago when I was close to 300 lbs my husband and I went to Washington DC and all the walking really wore on me and I couldn't see a lot of things I wanted to. One of those was the Lincoln Memorial I just couldn't get up all the stairs.  So this spring my husband and I are going to start  training and going for LONG daily walks and just getting in shape so when September comes we will be in shape for our next trip to DC and I will be going up those stairs to the Lincoln Memorial!!!!!

How's your hubby doing, by the way?

Hmm...I haven't been to Valleyfair in ages...but I'm thinking since I was there last that I'm now frightened of many of the rides. But question...I know I'm smaller, but since I carry my weight where I do...would I have a problem with any of the rides? I'm in a 20/22 right now - would I fit?

This may be my "to be accomplished" goal this spring...we'll see if I can muster up enough courage!
