Here's another reason to exercise:
Regular exercise can help you prevent or manage high blood pressure. Your cholesterol will benefit, too. Regular exercise boosts high-density "good" cholesterol while decreasing low-density "bad" cholesterol. This one-two punch keeps your blood flowing smoothly by lowering the buildup of plaques in your arteries. And there's more. Regular exercise can help you prevent type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis and certain types of cancer.

That seems like a dang good reason for a lot of us to move a little...

20 minutes on the treadmill is my plan.. or otherwise the Wii Fit!

see I to do this and its working and exercise doesn't have to cost I walk evey day and when possible on my brakes at work I walk. no matter the wheather I try to walk out side ( but In MN there have been a few days even I will not walk in) if I can't get out side the mall is not that far away. have a good one later

I'm off to the gym right now!!  It will be 70 min. of cardio and then lower body strength training.  Because of exercise I now have normal to low blood pressure!!  I never thought that would happen, even with the weight loss!!  It is definitely a good thing!

I did it!  Up 1/2 hour early (4am) and got on the treadmill for 15 minutes.

My plan i****ting the Y today. Depends how busy it is (at 6pm it will be) I'll do cardio for 45 min then weights for 30 min.

I just had to pop in and say I just love seeing your beautiful face. Love your new pic and glasses as well.
My plan is to get up and dance with my kids for a half hour for a they love it. Dance Party yippee!

After reading yesterday's entries I was motivated to get up this morning at 4 and go to the gym.  I only did 20 min of treadmill, but it's been two months since I've worked out.  Next week I'll up the cardio and add the strength training.  I think I can . . . I think I can . . . I think I can.

Hello Elena.....

Went out to the mall and walked briskly for 1 hour.

I am still waiting for my new medical card so I can join Golds Gym. My insurance will cover the cost. They have a pool set at about 80 plus degrees....I can't wait!!
