Renew Drivers License - What Weight?

This probably is a very superfical question; but I have been debating it for a week.  I need to renew my drivers license so what weight do I put down (or change)?

First off, it was never right.  It said 190lbs; in reality I fluctuated between 220-270lbs.  Well I am now about 225lbs.  I know within a year I will be down to be goal of 150lbs.  So do I just leave it at 190lbs and have to see that number for the next 4 yrs?

Or do I tell the clerk "Hey I had WLS and I want to put the weight I am going to be?" How weird?

I suppose I should just leave it at 190 since I lied the last 4 yrs; the next 4 yrs will be payback?

Any ideas; I am sure many of you have had this same problem come up.

Thanks, Ranae

I think I'd either leave it at 190 or split the difference and put down 175.

I'm finally within 5 lbs of what my drivers license says.  For the first time in my life I think!

Well, I say stick at 190ish or a little less... once you reach 150, you may look so different that it may warrant a new license anyway!

This is funny, my license says 190 too and my high was 350. OOPS!!!  Mine was due for renewal on my b-day , last Friday.  I've been postponing getting it renewed until I lose alittle more purely for vanity reasons, hoping in another 10-15pounds my face will look slimmer.  How bad is that?!
I'll keep my weight the same at 190, even though I'm 274.  What are they gonna do, make me get on a scale?    I wonder what the fine would be if I get pulled over with an expired license? Play dumb and get a warning?

Thanks for the feedback; I guess I will keep it at 190 and if I do hit goal I am getting a new one!!!

Kristy we have a lot in common; same MD; same month of surgery and same month for birthdays; and from what I can tell you have 1 daughter?  So do I, but mine is quite a bit older!

Thanks

RE: Alot in common, well no wonder I like you and we haven't even met.  You need to get yourself to a Burnsville coffee one of these days!

Edited to ask - When is/was your b-day?

I had the same issue last year - they don't check, it's just the honor system (Obviously, or someone would have locked me up when I weighed 370 and my license said 250!)

I put my goal weight on my new license - I'm not quite there yet, but it gives me one more thing to shoot for!  By my NEXT renewal, if it's realistic, I will be there!  LOL....

I actually asked about this when I went in to renew my tabs this year - they will retake your picture and change your weight for $13.

So Im gonna do that next month on my surgeriversary and shave at least 100 pounds off what it says now.

I used to see these posts and just get giddy for the person asking the question! How fun is it to ponder what weight to put down???

Personally, I'd go with an even 200 for now and then like LAFoster said, go get it changed when you hit goal for the $13!

But, your decision & your DL & your $!
I think it's a fun "problem" to have!

Totally FUNNY I have been 272 for years and mine says 190 too!!!!! Do you think when cops pull women over and they are over the weight of 200 lbs all of ours say 190????

I would just leave it and wait till you get down to ur goal weight....

Man this really has me wondering...... is 190 an "invisable" weight?
