Prayers please...

OMG!  As if I wasn't having enough challenges lately, the good Lord handed me one more this morning!

I had a very sudden onset of low left back pain accompanied with nausea and heaving at about 10 this morning while at work.  The short version, because I am so heavily drugged and in pain...I was taken by ambulance to the ER - after CT scan - was told that I had a kidney stone!  YIKES!  Never had these before and truly never hope to have them again! 

I have not yet passed this s*cker and apparently it can take a days!  I'm in so much pain, weak, lightheaded....

Anyone else have these since their surgery?  Have you had them more than once?

My thoughts and prayers are with you as you try to passs this stone.  That is one medical condition I have never had to deal with, but have taken care of others while they have dealt with it.  May they give you enough good drugs to relieve your pain as you go through this.

My wife and my son both had kidney stones this past year.   You have my sympathy.  Have asked about a stent or lithotripsy to remove/destroy the stone......I think it depends on how big the stone is and where it is lodged.

I am SO SORRY to hear that you are in so much pain. I have not gone through this but have heard from people who have.... it's terribly painful!!

I am praying for you and hope the pain  goes away ASAP!

My best friend just went through this. She was in pain for two weeks before they finally agreed she wouldn't pass it and did surgery to remove it.

I am sorry you are suffering such pain.
