Hi All,

I am really lacking in my exercie, Biggest thing is the days I have Nemi and chase her all over. Or I dash down from the 5th floor if the elevator is busy. I try to do the stairs more than the elevator.

I noticed a Snap Fitness about 1 block from my apt that just opened. Has anyone used their facility? Do you like it? Did you think the cost was comparative to the benefit? I would not have to drive, no parking issues. The staff? Etc....  Any opinions would be helpful.

I really want to get the legs in shape to go biking with Marlin this summer, we take Nemi on the back of his bike, but someday I want to be able to have the confidence to take her behind me.

Thanks,
Karen

I love my SNAP membership.  As far as the staff.  The hrs that I am there, either early morning or after 7pm there is no staff there.

The one I go to in Hugo isn't busy and if it is semi busy there is always something open to jump onto.   I have all good things to say about it.  The hardest thing as always is getting there.

The only downside, no pool (which I wouldn't use) and no classes.
I have gained some great friends on this journey!

Thanks Jess,

I think I will take a walk over there and check it out. They are promoting a 1 week free pass, that would giving me an idea if I feel comfortable there or not.

Have a great day,

Karen

I am not anywhere near the cities but I am with a snap gym and I love it but the thing is our snap is very different then all the other ones. Ours merged with a Healthy Insperations and so there for we have classes and everything else and its AMAZING I realize that all staff are different but ours are BEYOND amazing I love the flexability and that I can go whenever I want I can go at 4 am if I want!!

We have snap fitness up here in Wadena. I have been thinking about either joining the community center or snap fitness. Snap fitness is available 24 hours--but has no showers. The community center is cheaper--but most of the work out equipment is up 2 flights of a lot of stairs. When I have surgery and lose weight and hopefully my knees don't hurt so much then the stairs won't be an issue. Right now it is.
