First appointment

Had my first appointment yesterday with a coordinator, nurse clinician and bariatric MD.  Things went well, also gave 9 vials of blood, and had an EKG (normal).  Next step is at my next appointment on the 13th, meeting with a PT, nutritionist and  psychologist.  After that, insurance approval, appointment with the surgeon, then a surgery date!  Insurance approval shouldnt be a problem for me since I am an employee of the hospital.  I can't believe this is all moving so fast, I am very excited!  Just thought I would share since I haven't posted in a while.  Thx for reading.

I haven't made a final decision yet about my doctor, but I am getting it done at Park Nicollet, and I think I want Dr. Thomas Jones...

Best of luck in the remainder of your pre-op stuff.  Dr. Jones did my surgery last Friday and I just love him.  His nurse, Dorothy, is also great.
