Any pre op peeps here??

Just wonder if there is anyone that I can "bond" with so to speak..lol

I'm not pre-op but I had the same surgeon you have listed and would be happy to chat with you anytime. Feel free to PM me if you would like. Otherwise join a coffee group there are many people in all stages who attend those. Coffees are post on the boards throughout the week.

I will try and see if I can make a coffee group some day...its kinda hard with my schedule.

I am just starting the process again....I go to the informational meeting march 13....we will see what happens from there, I am planning on a RNY.

I am going thru the process myself at this time, also going thru Southdale so I would love to "Band" together and chat!

I"m pre-op.  I don't have a surgeon picked out yet.  I just spoke with my PCP this past Tuesday for a referral and had my first nut session on Wednesday morning.  I'm looking forward to the journey.

Hi Lisa - I'm a pre-op.  I'm scheduled for March 30th.  I'm not that far away from you either, I live just a wee bit south of BP.  12 miles to NP.  I have a friend in BP that's post op that's helping me understand the process better.  She is 6 months out.  She took me shopping on Sunday to get my cupboard preparred for the pre and post diet.  I needed this to feel more confident going in to the liquid diet phase.  I'm having my RNY at Abbott.  I'm going to the pre-op meeting tonight there to learn all of the specifics of before, during and after.
I could use another South-West Burbs "bond" too!
