Any pre op peeps here??
I have my surgeon chosen and attended the info seminar in Shakopee last friday Feb 27. I've chosen Dr. Drew at Abbott Northwestern/Minneapolis Bariatric Surgeons.
I got a response from sending my paperwork in to the surgeon's office. They said I could schedule my appointment with their dietitian and my surgeon consult. I found out that because my BMI is over 40 (my BMI is actually 50) my insurance doesn't require 6 or 3 months of doctor supervised visits. I just have to prove a comorbid which would be my moderate sleep apnea.
Today I scheduled my appointment with my surgeon's dietitian AND also scheduled my surgeon consult on that day as well which is April 7th.
I have my psych eval on march 25th.
