Six months ago yesterday
I was on the operating table being born again for the second time. It is really hard to believe that it has been six months because some days it feels like I just had surgery. What a heck of a ride that has been. Everyone said to buckle my seatbelt because it was going to be a heck of a ride, but I never imagined!
Here are some of the changes that have happened since August 18th:
1. Well, really since May 18th when I start my pre op diet, I am down 147 pounds with my weight at 262 this morning.
2. I exercise everyday, getting up very early so there are no excuses not to do it at night after work.
3. I run during my workout. Yes, I said RUN! I would have never imagined this!
4. I have went from a tight 4xl top to xl. My pants have gone from a 56-58 to a size 40 I wore today.
5. The pains in my body are gone! GONE! It doesn't hurt to get up from kneeling. It doens't hurt to walk a block. I can breath.
6. My pressure on my CPAP has gone from 15 to 8 and continues to go down. I am pretty confident I will be able to be off it eventually.
7. I don't have to shop at JCPenney Big and Tall or Casual Male. I can go into any store and buy clothes. WHAT A FEELING! Thanks to my dear friend LAFoster, I have found the benefits of the thrift store and have gotten some fabulous items for so cheap!
8. Lastly, I have met SO many wonderful people throughout this process. I have gotten to know some better than others but cherish everyone that I have gotten to share with because without the support, there is no way that I could be where I am at thus far.
Finally, roller coasters are going to ROCK this summer! I can't wait!
Thanks for listening!

You have transformed SO MUCH - from the first time I saw you to the last time in MG - wow, wow, wow! You are an amazing example of someone who sticks to the rules and gets the tool to work well!! Congrats and I hope you have many more WOW moments to come!!
You ARE doing so well and have come so far! I hope to be running on the treadmill one day too, and pain free as well. You've already experienced so many positives from surgery in just 6 months, I know there are only great things ahead for you! HUGS!

Michael,
Congrat's.......I can hear the joy in your words......This is quite the ride, but a good one..
You have done a great job with your tool.......
Congrat's on running, that alone is awesome.......And how fast you are shrinking.....WTG......You should really take a picture with the 4xl shirt on, That would be one amazing picture........
I'm so happy for you........Keep up the great job.......And I hope to meet you someday at MG coffee......
