A Challenge for all of you!
The boards have been a WEE bit slow lately, so I find myself going to my list of friends, wanting to read profiles for updates.
Yeah, right...
I can't believe how many people don't keep their profiles up to date! Just a blog everyone once in a while... once a month? Would be nice! What's stopping you? Are you just too busy? Are you not happy with where you're at? Afraid to be honest about your struggles? Think about that!
So that's my challenge to you all today. Make a point of going to your profile and posting an update so that your OH friends can stay on top of your journey! AND think about those random new people out there who are searching for information and inspiration! You probably scoured dozens of profiles before you got actively involved in the boards - so Pay it forward! Share your journey so the newer folks out there can read up on you! (and your friends can follow your progress!)

I find that I'll go to someone's profile because of their Before & After pic for example and want to read about their journey and there's like nothing there, or it hasn't been updated in YEARS! I know people are busy, but I feel bad that they can't drop a quick update because quite honestly, those are usually the one's I find the most inspiration from.

I'm glad you posted this. I was just wandering and checking out profiles. Disappointed that so many haven't updated, if they have anything at all! I'm no good at writing, but get me on a computer and I can get stuff done on here in a flash, so I am definitely looking forward to making use of this website to keep up on what is happening with me and other things as well. A huge thank you to those of you who do keep up with your profiles. Some may not realize how many people actually do take the time to look at them and read through them. They are a great inspiration as well encouragement to anyone who is thinking about doing this procedure. I spent many hours on here reading and researching before I finally decided this was what I wanted to do and nothing was going to stop me. Hope you all are having a great Monday! (Is that possible!?! LOL)
I've been updating my blog but not my profile as much... i think i'll be copying and pasting things into it. You are right, ever since I've taken my profile off private, tons of people have asked me to be friends. I remember looking at TONS of profiles pre-op... it's weird to think that I'm an inspiration to some people now...
