I've been MIA but for a good reason!
I met and fell in love with Nate!!! He's the most beautiful person in the world. He has 3 kids and live about 5 hours away, but he's moving in with me and my kids!! I am so freaking happy I can't take it. We are talking about getting married, but no official plans yet.
I just wanted my OH family to know.
Love to you all.

Paula, Please slow down, be patient. If this is true love then he can wait for the brain to catch up. You went through alot and you deserve even more!!! don't settle for the first or second love. If he cares about you he will be there in a week. Thnk about it ask a close friend. U are better than you have ever been, don't settlle for conveinence
Good luck to you. I am one to take it slow with relationships because of previous negative experiences.

I won't poop on your parade, but take it out of warp speed! You both wouldn't want your kids to get all attached and it goes south.
My Lamar (started as my very bestest friend) arbitrarily decided we had to date 6 months before he'd move in.....in his words "to be sure the crazy white chick doesn't surface!" Oh whatever! We also talked about marriage right away, we were so wild in love that we were going to be married shortly after he moved in! Luckily real life happened and we've now been together for a year and living together since June of last year and still not married! I say luckily because now we truly know we weren't rebounding, settling or anything like that!
If its meant to be, it will be! Good luck to you both and remember both of you have wild hormones from the newness of love....it does settle down!
Be happy!

Ya know what I think, Paula?
I think sometimes -
LOVE JUST HAPPENS
. Yes, one doesn't want to dive in TOO far, TOO fast, but if your heart is really alive, you have to open it to the possibility of being hurt, too!
So you have my BEST wishes that it all works out wonderfully for you! Everyone here has their own love stories - no one can say yours won't be successful!

Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
