I can't quite see myself doing yoga yet-  maybe in the future I will dare to try it!!

I am off to the gym this morning-  I will bond with the eliptical, bike, and treadmill!  Then it is lower body strength training.   Beyond the physical benefits of moving my body each day I have really started to notice that I have joined a community of people at the gym who care about me and my journey.  I missed Monday because I overslept- yesterday many of the MWF people said to me "we noticed you weren't here on Monday, are you feeling OK?"  What a great feeling!!

The best part of moving my body after WLS??  I am down to Happy Pills and hormones for medications!!  Totally amazing!!

I walked a MILE for the first time today.  Took about 21 minutes, but that's ok. Did 24 minutes total on the treadmill.  I'm excited about that!

Elena  - Is today your first day back to work since the accident?

Rennie- What a great feeling that the people you've come to know at the gym missed you on Monday!

It was my first full day (I did work a Sat... but those are low-key). It wasn't horrible, but I got sore and dizzy by the endof the night.

I love Yoga!  I have a DVD or two that are designed for those of us that are too big to twist into a pretzel, but still love the benefits of it.  I'll find the name(s) and post them here in case someone else is interested.

This morning I overslept  . . . missed the gym.  I see a pattern here so I'll have to figure out what I can do to change this.

30 min of Yoga tonight.

Your new picture looks great.Tonight I finally got back in the swing of things and did 30 min of my own dance,aerobics and leg lifts.I listened to some great music and it made the time fly.I normally like to walk,but the snow had me stay inside.sat morn I'm going to an water aerobic class at a park community center.That will be my new exercise I'll try again.Tracy

I have only done yoga one time I thought it would be a easy workout I was very wrong I was so sore the next day I could hardly stand it. As far as moving today snowblowing the driveway does that count?
