just a hello :)

My name is Amy and I'm 31 and new to the MN boards.  I am a divorced mom with two little girls who are 4 and 2 and am doing this to be healthy for them!

I am having lap bypass on March 31st with Dr. Drew at Abbott and am REALLY excited!  I used to work at Abbott so I am most comfortable there but I actually have been worked up at two other hospitals in two different states and went through a denial three years ago before finally going through everything I need to do to have surgery this time!  It's been a super long process but I'm finally here and can't wait to be on the other side!!!  :)

Welcome to the boards!  Dr. Drew was my surgeon and I had surgery at Abbott!  He is awesome!

 Welcome.  I'm pretty new, too, and the MN folks are great here.  It's very nice to know you're not going through this alone, and almost every question you have, someone has experienced it before.  It's great to have you here.

Welcome Amy!! This is a great place to be if you need anything just ask everyone in this forum is so so awsome!!! They won't leave you hanging everyone goes out of there way to make sure questions get answered and people feel good!!!! I am sure you will find some great friends here!!
