Out Of The Mouth Of Babes

This was soooo cute I just had to share....

My 5 year old son comes up to me a gives me a big bear hug, looks up at me and says," Daddy, have you lost weight??"
Just brought a big smile to my face.

That is so sweet!

I was hugging my son (6 years old) this morning and he said "I think .. I'm going.. to die...".  I may have been squeezing just a teensy bit tight. 

Both of my older kids have just not been very huggie since surgery for fear that the'll hurt me.  My daughter (5 years old) is better now but my son... I'm still working on him!  The baby doesn't care- she's still a snuggler.

I can't imagine anything better - the nice thing is you know kids are honest!!

How wonderful, Dave, and just think how many MORE times you're going to hear that after surgery!!! YAY!

psst - and I have a 5 y.o., too - some things are awfully sweet while others are a little...uh...sour, yea, sour let's just go with that...haha!

Dave, what a blessing.  That's the reason we do this: so we can get all the hugs we can.

That's one of the most precious WOW moments!  When our little ones notice, and aren't concerned with whether or not saying something about it is politically correct!
