I guess it took me a while to get my brain in the game... but I realized with exercise, I just need to DO IT.

I was also motivated so much by the regular posters!!! For example, Kelly (adriannamae) did a total of 90 minutes on the treadmill - she fit it in 3 times during the day. My thought? Heck, if a mother of a young boy can do it, what the heck is my excuse??

So how are you moving today?


Me? I am proud to say that I did 15 minutes on the treadmill (and actually ran about 5 minutes of that) and then 15 minutes on the elliptical yesterday!!!! Today I will attempt to go skiing... slow and steady, but I have to see if I can do it before I leave for my trip. And tonight, I will go on the treadmill for at least 15 minutes!

2019: 11 years out and maintaining a loss of 150lbs.

You Rock!!  Going skiing again is a great way to overcome your accident!! 

I headed off to the gym this morning- glad to say that the scale is starting to move the right way again!  I made everything a little more difficult by upping the resistance and that seems to be doing the trick (at least for now). 

 

It is a good day when I get out of bed on time.  It is a GREAT day when I Just Do It!!!

I realized from what you posted we need to put ourselves first and our health......I don't work, so I have no excuse not to exercise.......My plan is to shoot for 2-3 times on the treadmill, for a total of 60-90 minutes......I also want to add in a DVD workout, I'd like to buy the Biggest looser DVD's....That's on my to do list.......

Today I plan on the treadmill 2 times and a home gym workout......:)

Am happy to report I did a mile on the treadmill this morning in 21 minutes again.  My goal is to get to a mile in 15 minutes.

I've got to start getting on that thing twice a day. My lame excuse is I have to confine the
Laur-monster so she doesn't touch the treadmill while I'm on it.  She's still too young to understand "no, don't touch."  That's my dumb ass excuse.  Gonna work on that.

I did 30 min on the treadmill this AM.  10 min warm up and 20 walk at incline of 2.0 and speed 2.7.

It's definately a better day when I get up on time and DO IT!

I walked a little over 3 miles today...most of it was going from my office to the UofM Law School to bring a pineapple to my daughter.

30 min on bike

I have to work on the daily thing too. I seems to think I only need to exercise 3 times a week....
