One Month
I debated about posting this cuz I didn't know if it was worth it but I would like to share my tryumphs with someone, since I don't have anyone physically to tell. I am out almost a month now (only a couple hours away). I am feeling great, and I can't believe how fast I healed. I've had a couple WOW moments in my short time. I can't wear my rings anymore, they won't stay on my fingers, I never thought that I would have skinny fingers. I LOVE them, I can't stop holding my own hand. I love how skinny my fingers even feel. My second Wow moment was out shoe shopping. I went down not one but 2 shoe sizes, and I was floored I can't believe that. I have tiny feet already I don't need them any smaller. I got to buy a size 5 instead of a 7 I was a little embarresed. I am down 40 pounds!! I have NEVER NEVER NEVER seen the 20's on my scale. I don't think that I am going to see them for long cuz its in the low 20's. I got the OK from my surgon to go back to the gym!! I have made it 2 out of the 2 days!! I have to say though oh man has the gym kicked my butt. I can tell its been a long time since I've been there. OH and I just rememberd my 3rd Wow moment I was walking on the treadmill today, and I walked at 3.0 for a mile and I've NEVER been able to do that, it was the best feeling in the world. I have been through some very stressful situations after surgery (I just found out I have an ulsar in my stoma) but, I can honestly say I haven't regreated it yet. I love the new me. Sorry for rambling on.

Valerie- You've done so great already, congratulations on losing 40lbs. I know your excitement about the fingers shrinking. I've gone from a size 10 to an 8, and even the 8 is a bit loose. I hope my feet shrink too, but they haven't yet. Keep up the great work and keep coming back to share your progress. It's so fun to read.

CONGRATULATIONS on the WOW moments. You are doing great for such a short time out. It is nice to have someone to share these moments with. I'm sure you are welcome to post them on here as they happen and I'm certain that you will have many more.
