WED: No time to exercise?

A lot of people TRULY are stretched thin. I found an article that gives unique ideas for moving even when you are strapped for time:

So how did you move today - even if it was just climbing the stairs or walking from the back of the parking lot - how did you make an effort to move a little more?

Me? I am on the JUST DO IT plan and it's working!!! Every time I want to whine, I think about Kristy, Renee, Kelly, RP, Tim, Tonya, Lorri, etc, and how you all don't quit. Then I just can't find any more excuses.

Yesterday:

--Skied for 1.5 hrs. It hurt, but we stuck to the bunny hill and I took it slow
--Very brisk 30-minute walk (5 of it running) outside with the dog
--15 minutes elliptical and 15 minutes treadmill (5 of it running)

Today I plan on 15/15 elliptical/treadmill and then a 30 minute walk

2019: 11 years out and maintaining a loss of 150lbs.

Wow, you worked HARD yesterday! Good for you!

I did the treadmill for 15 this morning, not enough to get me my mile, so I'll HAVE to get back on this afternoon.

WOW, you did awesome........I truely believe exercise is the KEY to loosing weight.....I'm sure you will see the scale move again as you do more exercise.....

I'm surrounded by the flu.....My tummy feels a little weird today so I may take it a little easier today with the workout, I don't want to get run down.....So, I will go on the treadmill twice today, 30 minutes each time.......

I figured I'd edit now.....I just did my 1st treadmill workout for the day, 1.591 miles and burned 302.4 calories......But I'm shot....I really think I'm getting the flu....I'm going to go lay down.....Hopefully I can get my 2nd workout in later.....:)

You really went all out yesterday, Elena!

This morning I did 30 min of intervals on the treadmill.  I seem to get better results when I do several intervals of really high intensity.

I have walked 3.5 miles outdoors today and it was fabulous with the sun shining, a light breeze and people smiling instead of grimacing.

Well, my day started out 45 minutes late- but I still made it to the gym!!  I did 25 min. on the treadmill, 20 m in. on the eliptical and 10 minutes on the bike.  No time to lift weights, had to get to school.

I did park farther away from the entrance than normal, so got a little extra walking in.

Tomorrow is another day!

Congrats on the Bunny Hill!!

I went to the Y again, this time only 35 min on a bike. I did up my resistance today.
