Long overdue WOW for me!

Some of you have heard or read my whining about being "stuck" at a certain weight.  I kid you not, since last September, I've been bouncing between 221 and 225, unable to break south of the 220's. (Btw, if you don't know this about me, I'm 5'11"...).

I've been okay with that, because I haven't gone ABOVE 225, I HAVE lost over 150 pounds, which I'm not inclined to blow off, and most importantly, my DOCTOR is THRILLED with me - he says if I don't lose another pound, he'll still sing my praises! (as long as I don't GAIN!!)

This Monday, I was at 221 - again.  Today?  218.5, BABY!!!   I'm coming up on my 2 year surgiversary, and I can still do this!  I don't have a specific goal weight, I've used 1/2 of my former weight as a vague number goal.  Really?  I just want to see ONEDERLAND!  Even if only for a day - I'll be tickled PINK to see ONEDERLAND!!!  Once I'm there, I'll decide whether or not it's realistic for me, all my nasty skin and lead pipe bones to stay there.

WOO HOO!!!!!

That's fantastic Darla!!  Great job on all your hard work!

My surgeon is a firm believer that the people who have support (like this message board) do much better long term than those who don't - because they stay in touch and on top of things.

Darla- Congrats on breaking your stall, man was that a long one!  So, I'm curious, if you don't mind sharing, what sizes are you in?  I'm 6'0 tall and am wondering about what size I'll be after I lose another 40.

That's another funny thing about the support here and at coffee.... I would have NEVER imagined feeling so free to share NUMBERS with people before!

I'm in 16's for jeans - still wear one pair of 18's, have one pair of 14's from Avenue that fit, but pretty much a solid 16.  For tops?  There's such a range - anywhere from a 14/16 to a 20, some Larges, some XL's.  I'm a big girl, with no illusions of ever even being a Medium - I'm just yippy skippy happy to be able to shop darn near anywhere!  Even tho I'm not inclined to do much shopping yet.  Never have been, haven't yet discovered my inner shopaholic.  I hope I never do, to be honest...

Still have some issues with length, tho - probably always will.

I know what you mean about sharing numbers. It's getting easier for me. Can't wait to be down around where you are though.

Is there a land for the 200's?

Well until my WLS, I'm stuck in Fourderland.
