OT - My Grandson!

I am going take this opportunity to 'brag' a little about my 5 year old grandson!! He is in kindergarten and since the beginning of the school year has excelled in all he did, even the teacher noticed it and started giving him a bit more challenges to stimulate him. Gave him 'Sight' words and these he not only had know the meaning and use the word in a sentance, he had to know how to spell it!! At first it was words like 'because' or realize,
Recently his words got a bit more challenging like 'Rambunctious' and yes I asked him what it means and his answer was , its like to go Crazy grandma!! So I asked him so when you where playing the Wii game last week, you were a little rambunctious, were'nt you?" So next week when school is out I am going to ask him to write me a story using all his sight words he has had so far and uses it in a story!! I can't wait to read that one!!!

Anyway, the reason for this post is he just got his report card and even though they are only half way thru the school year, they are already talking about putting Jaden in second grade next year! He is already reading at the second grade level! It is amazing to hear him read and he sits on the couch and grabs a book and reads to Brody!!! I am just so proud of this little guy! He is just so smart and that is not just a proud grandma talking, well maybe.....but its so true and I love him so much!!

That is awesome.......What a smart little guy......Does he get it from Jamie or Messina? Or Grandpa or Grandma? :)

Yep, Marek is working on words like became, not, like, before, etc......So Jaden is really doing well......
