Anyone have surgery at Mayo in Rochester?

I am having my surgery in Rochester but live in the cities.  Has anyone else on OH had their surgery at Mayo but reside in the twin cities?

I had my surgery done by Dr. Kendrick and he is wonderful. :D
I don't live in the Twin Cities as you know though.. hehe

I don't live in the cities but I do know Dr. Kendrick.  I worked as one of his OR nurses for 3 years and now am having him do my DS.  You are in wonderful hands. Dr. Kendrick and his staff are great.  He is one of the most skilled surgeons I have ever seen operate, especially laparoscopic surgeries.  He is able to safely perform surgeries laparoscopically that many other surgeons would not.   Mayo can be overwhelming/intimidating/frustrating because of the size but staff generally try to be very friendly and helpful.  I'm sure that if you plan on having your follow up appointments in Rochester you can mention that you are from the cities that they will group your appointments.  If you have any other questions that I might be able to answer let me know.
