Laurie headed into Hospital for "Tune-Up"
My daughter, Laurie is headed into the U oj MN hospital for at least the weekend, they term it a "Tune-Up". She has not been in since August and that is the longest time without IV antibiotics. She has Cystic Fibrosis, . She probaly has pnuemonia, her old nemisis, and will be getting a ****tail of 3 different IV meds. As soon as they get them all set up and the dosages right, they will kick her loose to do her own meds at home.
She just celebrated her 7 year anniversary of VBG done by Dr. Buchwald at the U on March 4, 2002. She is the only Cystic Fibrosis patient that we know of to have had GBS. She went from 317 to 125 at lowest and is maintaining at 150-155.
I will have Princess Nemi part of the time. Poor baby is fighting off a cold, so she won't be able to go up and spend too much time with Laurie.

Thank you all for the thoughts n prayers.. it will be an easy weekend. The doctors have decided to do 2 iv antibiotics, Tobramycin and Miropenum. so we will see how these go over the weekend. All the nurses and doctors are kinda suprised to see me since ive been doin so much better lately, but the weather has made it hard to breathe, damn mother nature cant make up her mind if she wants it warm or cold....So im here till at least monday but its not a huge deal, at least this time i know it will be easy.. They already said that it is not pnemonia so thats good news...
Well i did my finals yesterday and they went well, I got 3 A's and a C, so my gpa will drop a little but not to bad, so no biggy, cant win em all lol.
Nemi is gettin to be such a big girl, but still just mommys lil baby right now, bein sick sucks and then not havin mommy there to take care of her is gonna throw her for a loop. but she spending the nite with daddy and her auntie Kristine so she will have fun, last time i talked to them she had just woke up from her nap and was in a great mood gonna eat Spaghetti for dinner, ohhh nummmmmmmmy.. and then she will probably get them to let her watch Kung Fu Panda at least once today lol..

And yes 7yrs is a long and wonderful time. i look forward to be able to tell everyone happy 7th surgiversary.. I saw Dr Buchwald today and he said i look beautiful and have a beautiful belly.. I love the way he says that..lol
