Pre-op: Did any of you get referred to an Endocrinologist?
Now i did not get refered to endocrinology my experience was this...I got refered to Gastroentenology I was told i had ulcerative colitis and possibly colon cancer my Surgeon said that he wouldn't do the surgery if i had ulcerative colitis so today I went to have an endoscopy and colonoscopy to see how bad thing were to mine and the doctors suprise I have neither!!! Crazy huh. I guess all I can say is I know how hard it is to go through this but you are not alone the support here is amazing. If you need a buddy to vent with let me know!!!

I was!!! But I was angery at my surgeon more for having his nurse tell me he wouldn't do the surgery if i had ulcerative colitis. I love my doctor and his staff but sometimes they don't realise how huge this is for most of us, I was not only terrified because i had been told i may have cancer but then they say that it was like kicking a person when they are already down. Ya know. add me to your friends list and i will chat with you more!!
I didn't get referred to one but I have been working with one I adore for 2+ years.
