1. When you chew your food thoroughly you improve your alkaline balance of your system. If your system is alkaline you will not suffer any diseases or illness. However if your system is acidic then diseases and illnesses will thrive.

2. When you chew your foods thoroughly you strengthen your immunity. By chewing your food you increase the secretion of parotin, a hormone that strengthens and protects your immune system.

3. When you chew your food thoroughly you reduce the amount of food you need to feel satisfied. It takes twenty minutes for a signal to be sent to your brain indicating that it is satisfied. If you are chewing your food more thoroughly then you are eating a lot less food in 20 minutes. Nevertheless your brain receives a signal and you feel more satisfied sooner.

4. When you chew your food thoroughly you promote clearer thinking and a healthier nervous system. The more you chew your food the more oxygen you introduce into your system.
