Couch-to-5K - anyone, anyone?

Just curious if anyone has done the Couch to 5K running plan?  I REALLY need to get my butt into gear and am not sure what is preventing me from exercising other than procrastination.  Anyone want to start this with me?

That sounds really cool - I am going to check it out.  I am waiting for approval from my insurance company, so I know I could start, then continue at the appropriate time after surgery!  Great idea!

This seems kind of interesting and a running/jogging plan that may work.  Sounds like something that might work for this summer....thanks for the info.

I did the couch to 5k before my 5k in Nov. Not to say that I did it fully but what I did do of it worked well. It's a great program.

2019: 11 years out and maintaining a loss of 150lbs.

I did a 5K in 2005 and started out using this program.  Then my trainer came up with something a little different.  She gave me a program that was similar just a little slower since I had more time and I was pretty overweight.  My friend and running partner stuck with the Couch to 5K and did very well with it.  If she had trouble she just did one week two or three times and then moved on. 

Good luck!  Running is very rewarding!
